About Brian:

Red Rocks’ principle landscape and pool designer, Brian has over 8 years of landscape experience.  He received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Landscape Architecture from Arizona State University. Brian has experience with a wide range of design projects, including commercial, institutional, and residential.  He has extensive knowledge of pool and spa design, waterfall and water features, xeriscape ecosystems, as well as outdoor elements such as ramadas, fireplaces, fire pits and outdoor kitchens.

Brian’s professional experience in planning, design, and implementation has brought him projects throughout the Southwest United States, including, Arizona, California, Nevada and New Mexico.  His creative process involves the integration of the human factor with the natural environment which produces a design than not only achieves form and function, but also creates a landscape that aesthetically and ecologically enriches the community.  He recognizes that successful design development comes from a comprehensive knowledge of the past while embracing creative and innovative change for the future.  Brian’s extensive computer and software knowledge keeps Red Rock on the cutting edge of design technology.  These projects require sensitive design and detailing consistent with their respective context yet are contemporary in their expression.  Brian is responsible for all phases of the design development process, including production of construction documents, details and 3D modeling.

Brian is considered to be an exemplary employee, and has previously received such accolades as, "Drafter of the Year" and "Employee of the Year".  In addition, he has been awarded the "People's Choice Award", "Gold Metal Garden Creator", "Pacific Horticulture Award", and "Best of Show" for his work at the San Francisco Garden Show.  You will find that whether Brian is in the office, in the field, or at home that he strives for excellence in everything he does.
