Contemporary Elevated Design
This project consists of 3 separate bodies of water: the Front Entry Water Feature, the Backyard Waterwall and the Elevated Rooftop Pool & Spa. Although relatively simple in its appearance, this pool is actually one of the most technical projects we have undertaken. The pool itself is an integrated structural element of the patio. The double lautner edge separating the pool from the spa gives the illusion that they are one continuous body of water. The front entry water feature was designed to appear as cubes of water and feature lautner and negative edges as well as floating steps leading to the front door. The 30′ x 10′ backyard waterwall gets its white water look from the 3D splitface basalt stone which creates a very rough flow of water.
