    Majestic Oasis

    picture at sunset

This project required equal parts technical skill, knowledgeable design and raw nerve. Among the unusual features is a custom-color deep-purple pebble finish that when first installed made the pool look like a vat of grape jelly, but later softened to a rich and subtle hue that sets this contemporary-styled vessel apart from all others. It has an attached/raised, all-tile spa. The water in the spa spills over all four sides into the basin and then flows to the pool. It is surrounded by a system of modular steps that we call “levitating stones”. Considering all of the innovative details and dramatic setting, this pool is anything but ordinary or mundane.

    Backyard With Pool

This project combines the elements of water, fire, and earth to create a soothing retreat. Gas fire features combine with misting and fog systems on all 5 waterfalls to create a well-balanced look. The surface select boulders used to create the waterfalls give the space a Sonoran Desert feel. Natural travertine decking provides a beautiful contrast to the darker boulders. This backyard paradise includes three separate pools, five waterfalls, seven fire pits, a water slide, and 200 tons of boulders.

    Rustic Contemporary

This house combines contemporary lines with a rich material palette that’s all about warmth and comfort. We worked with an interior designer to define the finish details, which include beautiful architectural lighting, a vast collection of contemporary/southwest artworks, exquisite appliances and furnishings. Everything from the kitchen to the bathrooms, bedrooms, common areas, private theater to the air-condition garage was rendered down to the smallest detail. Altogether, the result is an 8,000 square foot home that while definitely spacious and luxurious also feels entirely livable. For all of the sophisticated design work and elegant refinements, the place remains very much a family home.

    Backyard Retreat

The porcelain tile on this vanishing-edge spa is definitely an exquisite finishing touch. The beautiful blue reflecting surface coordinates with the yellow and natural stone exterior of this home. The material covering the deck is Scabos Travertine. The deck coping is white limestone. The limestone is also tied into the pool—the water feature in the pool has 3 limestone scuppers. The pool and spa harmonize with the home’s architecture and the property’s magnificent desert backdrop, which includes a stunning view of the nearby mountains.

    Extraordinary Design

This pool covers about 3,200 square feet. There’s an upper warming pool with a sun shelf and two-foot shallow play area. The warming pool is next to the raised 22-foot circular splash pad with a dozen programmable dancing jets. The spa is a trapezoid with sides that are fitted with a series of metal spillways that spill back into the pool.
